Mister Ron's Basement #118

Writers who were either from or who wrote about the city of New Orleans get the Spotlight in the Basement this week -- today's author, Henry Clay Lewis -- who died way too young -- wrote hilarious (and often grisly) tales of his career as a Louisiana 'Swamp Doctor.' Today's screamingly funny tale is called 'Being Examined for My Degree.'

Time: approx twenty-two minutes

Please give generously to the Red Cross or any of the other wonderful organizations who are helping the folks in Louisiana recover from the devastation of the Hurricane and Flood.
