Mister Ron’s Basement # 1887

With events in the State of Wisconsin in the news, we are devoting this week’s selection of stories to those of George W. Peck. Peck was a native Wisconsinite, who was a Civil War hero, humorist, stand-up comic, newspaper publisher, mayor of Milwaukie, and a popular two-term Governor of the State.

Pandemonium erupts as a policeman is invited into a church - the inviter wants to save the cop’s soul - the cop thinks somebody needs to be arrested - in the 1882 story, ‘An Accident All Around.’

Time: approx five minutes
