Mister Ron's Basement #633 A Truly Special episode of the Basement today -- While George W. Peck's writing career was just starting to take off, he ran the lecture circuit during 1876 through 1878, delivering what was essentially a stand-up comedy routine about his experiences in the Civil War. This led to fame as a humorist, and eventually to a successful career in Politics as a two term Governor of Wisconsin. Here we present, in its entirety, 'How Peck and Another Mule Crushed the Rebellion.'
