Mister Ron's Basement #1589
This week we are once again reading from George W. Peck's 1900 book 'Sunbeams.'
George W. Peck was not only a beloved humorist, comedian, and writer of his day, but also served two terms as Governor of the State of Wisconsin. Today we offer a memorable (and funny) tale from his tenure as Governor -- 'Calling an Audience With a Fire Alarm.'
Time: approx eight and a half minutes
