This week we are reading from George W. Peck's 1900 book 'Sunbeams.' Today Peck tells of a fellow editor who became a police chief, and how the man dealt with a 'regular customer' in a tale called 'Gave the Prisoner Rope.' Time: approx five and a half minutes
