Mister Ron's Basement #1321

We are celebrating WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH with fun stories by 19th Century Women Authors.

One of the most imaginative writers of the 19th century, Lucretia Peabody Hale wrote stories for kids that always had a sly wink and a nod for the grown-ups. Today's piece from 1886 deals with a young man with a unique talent looking for a calling in life. It's called 'A Place for Oscar.'
