Mister Ron’s Basement # 1886
With events in the State of Wisconsin in the news, we are devoting this week's selection of stories to those of George W. Peck. Peck was a native Wisconsinite, who was a Civil War hero, humorist, stand-up comic, newspaper publisher, mayor of Milwaukie, and a popular two-term Governor of the State, as well as being the creator of 'Peck's Bad Boy.'
Today’s 1882 piece discusses how uncomfortable women’s clothing is, then takes a gander at how uncomfortable men’s clothes are. It is called ‘The Difference.’
Time: approx five and a half minutes
