Mister Ron's Basement #1288

Douglas Malloch wrote outdoor adventures and poetry, and was an editor of American Lumberman Magazine. In 1911 American Lumberman published his fun book, 'Resawed Fables.' This week we have been reading stories from that book.

Today's looney fable concerns an ancient philosopher who provided inspiration for a modern lumber man. It's called 'Of Socrates and the Man from Wisconsin.'
