Mister Ron's Basement #432 This week we're reading 'Stories That They Are Famous For,' tales from long ago that are still remembered to this day. Bret Harte was well known for many short stories of the American West, but his most famous was 'The Luck of Roaring Camp' from 1868. There are some laughs here, but mostly, the story is a wonderful study in contrasts and poignancy. Time: approx twenty-four minutes The Mister Ron's Basement Full Catalog can be found at: http://ronevry.com/Mister_Rons_Full_Catalog.html |
